About Andreas Funda
Son of an aspiring amateur photographer, Andreas was born in the Westphalian town of Ahlen, Germany. He lived in Dortmund for 24 years before settling in the City of Quebec, Canada. As a teenager, he was very intrigued by all the equipment and gear his father was using for his photography. He started to read all the camera and equipment manuals he could find. His own photography started at the age of 16 years when his father offered to forward the money for his own camera. Without hesitation, he accepted the offer and got his camera, a Canon AE-1. Several years later, he worked as an assistant in an industrial photo studio. He learned to develop film as well as how to do product photography. He then went on to study computer...
