Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A vintage movie poster reprint of ''King Kong'', a 1933 American monster adventure film directed and produced by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. It is a landmark film in the history of cinema, known for its groundbreaking special effects and iconic portrayal of the giant ape, King Kong.
The story of "King Kong" is set in the early 1930s and follows filmmaker Carl Denham (played by Robert Armstrong), who embarks on an expedition to the uncharted Skull Island to make a documentary film. Denham is accompanied by actress Ann Darrow (played by Fay Wray), who becomes the film's leading lady, and a crew of adventurers.
On Skull Island, they encounter the native inhabitants and the enormous, prehistoric ape known as King Kong. The film explores the capture of Kong and his subsequent display in New York City as a showbiz attraction. However, Kong escapes and wreaks havoc in the city, leading to a climactic showdown on the Empire State Building.
